About This Site
Dairy State Guide to Medicare is published by Ulness Health, a Wisconsin-based independent insurance agency. We built this site to give Wisconsin residents straightforward, Wisconsin-specific Medicare education — the kind of resource we wish existed when our clients first started asking questions.
Who We Are
Ulness Health is an independent insurance agency based in Wisconsin. We're not tied to any single insurance company — we represent multiple carriers across Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D, and recommend what fits your situation, not what's easiest to sell.
Our agents know Wisconsin's Medicare market from the ground up: the county-by-county plan landscape, the regional carriers that don't advertise nationally, Wisconsin's unique Medigap structure, and programs like SeniorCare that exist nowhere else in the country. A lot of Medicare information online is generic. We're not.
Our help is always at no cost to you. Like all Medicare agents, we're compensated by the insurance carriers when you enroll — you pay the same premium either way, so there's no reason not to get help.
📍 Wisconsin-Based
Ulness Health agents are based in Wisconsin and know the state's Medicare market — the unique Medigap rules, the plan options available county by county, and programs like SeniorCare that don't exist anywhere else.
🔓 Truly Independent
No quotas, no pressure. We represent multiple carriers so we can compare options objectively and find what's best for you — not what's most convenient for us.
💰 No Cost to You
You pay the same premium whether you use an agent or enroll directly. Our compensation comes from the carriers, not from you — so there's genuinely no downside to getting help.
